Security — Onshore by design

Your calls are the most sensitive data you have. Here is exactly what we do with them.

Plain language, no badges. If a question isn’t answered here, email security@userelay.com.au and a person replies.

Calls stay in Australia

Audio, transcripts and facts are stored in Sydney. They are not moved offshore.

Zero retention at AI providers

The models that read your calls run on zero-data-retention terms. Nothing is kept or trained on at their end.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Every call leg, upload and record. Integration tokens are stored encrypted and scoped to the least access needed.

You decide what is captured

Never-record list, Private mode, and a capture decision made before the call connects. Excluded calls leave no trace.

Delete any call, any time

From the phone or the console. Deleting a call removes the audio, transcript and facts together.

Recording is with knowledge

Australian law requires that callers know. Relay gives you the wording for your voicemail greeting, signature and website.

What Relay writes to your systems, and when.

Relay only writes to a connected system as part of a pack you approved, or an ask you chose to run without staging. Every write is logged with the call it came from, and most can be undone from the receipt for ten minutes.

Relay reads from your systems to match callers and fill in details. It does not scan your inbox or CRM in the background, and it never acts on what it reads without a call and your tap behind it.

Relay is a phone company, in law

Because Relay sells numbers and calls, Australian telecommunications rules apply to us: the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, emergency call access, and the number database. Emergency calls always go through your phone’s normal dialler. Details on request.
