01 The aftermath

An agentic system that was on the call.

Other tools make you explain what just happened. Relay was there. Say the short version and it fills in the rest from the call itself, then hands you one approval.

  • The call is the context. You never repeat it.
  • A few words is a whole instruction.
  • Every action shows the moment it came from.

Relay never picks the work itself. You name it, in a sentence or a tap.

Offer $1.2m · finance clauseHubSpotupdating the deal…“we’d go to 1.2 if they take finance”
Ready for you · 3 to approve
Example. Relay is on a six minute call with a buyer, Mark Robinson, about 12 Grattan St. After you hang up you type seven words: book it in, send the contract and log the offer. Relay fills in the rest from the call — the inspection at Thursday 10am because he said Thursday morning works, the contract to Mark and Sarah because he asked for it today, and the offer at 1.2 million with a finance clause because that is what he offered — writing each one into the system it belongs in — Google Calendar, Gmail and HubSpot — then asks you to approve three things.

02 What it can do

One ask, however many steps it takes.

The work a call creates rarely sits in one system. Relay crosses them in a single pass.

Works across your tools

One ask can touch the CRM, the calendar, your inbox and a document. You approve the whole pack once, not four times.

Reads before it writes

It looks up the deal, the contact and what you said last time, so the details are right rather than invented.

Handles conditions

“If the vendor agrees, book it. If not, note the file and remind me Friday.” Relay carries the whole instruction, not just the first half.

Asks when it isn’t sure

Two people called Mark? An address it can’t place? It comes back with a question instead of guessing.

Reports with receipts

Every step, what it touched and what changed, on the phone when it’s finished. Undo from the receipt.

Learns your repeats

Ask for the same thing enough times and Relay offers to make it a skill. Then it’s one tap for good.

Things people tell it, after hanging up:

Log the offer and tell the vendor Book them in for Thursday and send the contract Draft the follow-up in my voice, don’t send it Put the two conditions on the file Remind me to chase this Friday morning Move settlement to the 24th everywhere Write up the vendor report and email it to Dave Text her the address and my ETA Add them to the buyer list for anything over 900

You take the call. Relay does the relaying.

You do the job. It never picks up the phone, never decides what the call needs, and never writes to anything until you say so.

03 How it runs

Four steps. One of them is yours.

Every call on your Relay number is captured on Relay’s own line, so there is nothing to install on a laptop and nothing to remember to press.

  1. 01

    Take the call

Your phone rings as normal. If Relay knows the caller, you see who it is and where you left off. If it doesn’t, no matter.

  2. 02

    Hang up

Relay turns the call into facts: who, what, when, how much. In about the time it takes to open your car door.

  3. 03

    Tap or tell

Tap a skill you set up once, or tell Relay what you want in a sentence. Anything the call needs, not just a CRM update.

  4. 04

    Done

Relay does the work in your systems and sends you the receipts. Then it goes quiet.

Tell Relay what to do, the way you’d tell an assistant.

Type it or say it. Relay turns the ask into a pack of actions built from the call, shows you exactly what will happen, and waits for your tap.

Ask the same thing a few times and Relay offers to make it a skill, so next time it’s one tap.

Skills: the things you do after every call, set up once.

A skill is a recipe you own. “After a buyer call, book the inspection, send the contract, log the offer.” Relay fills in the details from the call and stages the pack. You tap once.

Start from the library or build your own. Skills never fire on their own; you choose which one fits the call.

04 Who calls you

Not every call is a client. Every call is work.

Relay isn’t a CRM logger. Whoever rang, you say what needs doing next and Relay does it in whichever system it belongs in: calendar, inbox, CRM, a note to yourself, a text to someone else.

05 The line

Your line, two ways in.

Either way, calls on the number are captured on Relay’s side, and calls you make from the app show your Relay number.

  • Texts to the number land in the app
  • Keep your personal number personal

Keep my number

Divert your existing mobile to Relay in your carrier’s settings. Callers dial the number they already have.

  • Texts stay where they are, on your phone
  • Switch the divert off any time
  • Nothing changes for the people who call you

06 The category

Not a note-taker. Not a receptionist.

Plenty of tools will tell you what was said. Relay is for what happens next, and it only works because it owns the line the call came in on.

07 Privacy

Private calls stay private.

The number is yours. Relay decides what to capture before the call connects, from rules you set, and it never picks up on your behalf.

Never-record list

Family, your doctor, your accountant. Calls from anyone on the list ring straight through and nothing is kept.

Private mode

One switch. Every call rings through untouched until you switch it back.

Relay never answers

No voicemail bot, no receptionist, no “please hold”. If you don’t pick up, neither does Relay.

Line health

If a divert drops or the line has a problem, you know within the minute, on the phone.

09 Questions

Questions people ask before they sign up.

Short answers. Longer ones live on the Security page.

Do I have to change my number?

No. Get a new Relay number, or keep yours and divert it to Relay in your carrier settings. Either way, callers reach you the same as today.

Does Relay answer my calls?

Never. Relay is on the line so the call is captured. You pick up, or your voicemail does.

What happens if I don’t tap anything?

Nothing. The call, transcript and facts are kept in the console. No action is taken unless you tap a skill or tell Relay to do something.

Can Relay run an ask without asking me first?

Only if you switch that on for yourself, and you’ll see a warning when you do. The default is always: show me, then wait.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone, with the console in any browser. The call itself runs over your normal mobile network.

Do my callers need to know they’re recorded?

Yes. Australian law asks you to tell people when a call is captured. Relay gives you the wording, a per-caller never-record list and a Private mode so you can honour it.

Where does my data live?

In Sydney. Transcripts and facts stay in Australia. AI providers are used on a zero-retention basis, so nothing is kept on their side.

Can my team share a number?

One account can hold several numbers and people. Each person has their own line and their own skills. Solo is the default; add people later.

What counts against my plan?

Call time in and out, texts, and the AI work you ask for — different weights, one percentage. Private and never-record calls draw the line time only, never the AI.

Is there a contract?

Month to month. Cancel from the console, and your number stays yours for 30 days in case you change your mind.

Get a number that finishes the call.
